Ethics Training

Due to the overwhelming response following our state-wide ethics training, NYAAEL has provided the environmental community with an online ethics course for the last several years. This course has been prepared by NYAAEL for laboratories to fulfill their annual certification requirement. It has been approved by the New York State Department of Health Environmental Laboratory Approval Program and will be accepted by them for all laboratory personnel. A new ethics presentation and test is now available. This presentation is a refresher course for those who have already completed the initial course. For new personnel or labs who have never taken our course, we recommend the first presentation. For those who have taken the first course already, the refresher course is for you. The price is the same for each course. NYS DOH CEUs are pending. Anyone interested in taking this course must contact Judy Graves at NYAAEL's office (570) 888-4768. Once a purchase order or payment is received, an ID will be issued which will provide access to the site. Each laboratory will be given 30 days to complete the course and email the online test to NYAAEL. Each test will be graded and if a passing grade is achieved, a certificate will be sent by return mail. The following fee structure has been set:
