Member pre-paid registrations are $40 (or mail one Meeting Registration Ticket). Member registration at the door is $45 or one Meeting Registration Ticket and $5. All dues must be paid in full for 2008 to register as a member. Cost for non-members is $60, pre-paid or at the door. Lunch is included.

All members and non-members must respond by Tuesday morning, May 27th if you plan to attend. You may phone, fax or pre-pay your reservation. Pre-paid registrants, who fail to attend and do not cancel by Wednesday, May 28th, do not receive a refund. You may send a substitute. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.

From West: I-90, to Exit 24. Take the Northway, I-87, North to Exit 7. Follow to Route 9, Latham. Turn right at light on Rte 9 North. The Inn is one mile on the right.
From East: NYS Thruway to Exit B-1 (Berkshire Spur). Follow to I-787 North to Route 7 West (Schenectady, Saratoga Springs). Take exit for Route 9. Turn left on Rte 9 North. Inn is ½ mile north on right.
From South: I-87 N to Exit 23. Take I-787 N to Route 7 West (Schenectady, Saratoga Springs). Take exit for Route 9. Turn left at the light onto Rte 9 N. The Inn is ½ mile on right.
From North: Take Northway, I-87 S to exit 7. Follow signs for Rte 9, Latham. Turn Right at light on Rte 9 North. The Inn is one mile on right.
Airport: Complimentary transportation is available only with prior request from the hotel.

Presentation on Current Information for New York State Laboratories

Ms. Patricia Chany, JMS Environmental, will present “Method Update Rule Summary.” On March 12, 2007, EPA added and updated procedures for sampling and analysis in wastewater and drinking water. The revisions for analytical methods provide additional choices to the current EPA methodologies as well as updates to the holding time, preservation and sampling requirements under the CWA and the SDWA. This Methods Update Rule summary will provide all you need to know to add methods, delete methods, and adjust sampling requirements for your laboratory.

Lunch

Ms. Gale Warren, NYS Department of Health, ELAP Program Auditor, will present “Updates to the ELAP Manual.” This presentation will provide you with information about all of the changes in the latest ELAP Update.

Dan Dickinson from NYS ELAP will present recent changes within the NY DOH ELAP Program.
